Fall Production Tours and Orchard Wagon Rides Visit the Apple Wedge Packers facility for a production
tour and experience the local tradition of apple packing. View the
most modern grading and packing equipment including an electronic
sorter which photographs each apple four times to determine the
best color quality. Watch apples make their way down the production
line to be washed, sorted, graded and packed for shipping to various
retail merchants. Guests can enjoy a self-guided tour of the entire
packing process from an elevated catwalk. If time allows, load a
32-seat wagon for a guided trip into an apple orchard and sample
our homemade apple cider. For reservations, download a

10 a.m.-12 p.m. and from 1-5 p.m. tour line is closed daily
from 12-1 p.m. Wagon rides begin on the hour and are offered
at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. We will be happy to customize a program for groups
with more than 50 people. Additional fees may apply based upon
program requests. Why not enjoy lunch under an apple tree? A boxed
picnic lunch can be provided for an additional fee with advanced
reservations (Available for groups of 25 or more). A confirmation letter will be sent after you have
made your reservation. Cost: $6 per person
for production tour only; $6 per person for wagon ride only;
$10 per person for combined production tour and wagon ride;
Children ages 5 and under free with a paying adult. A discount
is given for groups of 20 or more. Please call for prices and
times. Tips to Remember: Due to possible mechanical breakdowns there may be times
when the production line is temporarily shut down. Don't forget to bring your camera!
