Apple Roll

Ingredients:
½ c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick oleo
1½ c. water
1½ c. flour
5 Tbsp. Water
½ c. shortening

Combine both sugars, oleo and water. Pour into a 13x9-inch baking pan. Place in oven and bring to a boil.

Mix flour, water and shortening. Roll dough thin. Spread with 4 cups chopped apples. Mix cinnamon with apples. Place apples on dough and roll up. Cut into 1-inch slices. Place in syrup in baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until lightly brown.
